Refund, Exchange and Cancellation Policy

  1. General Policy

    • All items sold are not returnable, refundable, or exchangeable.
    • Inspect the item upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if the wrong item is received, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
    • We don’t provide exchanges for wrong sizes purchased. Customers are advised to cross-check with the size measurement chart before ordering. Please let us know if you find the size chart missing. Purchase one size bigger if you are unsure about the sizes.
    • Discounted or on-sale items are not valid for refund/exchange.
    • Loose threads are not considered a damaged item.
    • A washable stain is not considered damage. A 5% - 10% color variation is expected due to different lighting and photographic sources. An item with dual-tone abilities may look varied from a different angle.
    • We recommend all items be dry-cleaned prior to use to preserve the quality of the item.
    • Order cancellation requests will not be entertained.
    • In case a wrong item/size or damaged item is received, an unboxing/parcel opening video from the seal is mandatory for our customer service team to claim the exchange on a fairground basis. Requests without this video may not be entertained.
    • Most of the items in our store are preorder items with an estimated delivery time of 8-14 days from the purchase date unless stated readystock. The item will be shipped from India as soon as it is ready. Please note that there are chances for the item to be out of stock. We will contact you in that case with available choices for exchanges.
  2. Return Eligibility

    • To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that the customer received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
    • Customers will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  3. Return Process

    • To start a return, customers can contact us at houseofkurtas@gmail.com.
    • If the return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send the package will be provided.
    • If the request is accepted, it is the customer's duty to ship it back to us within 3 working days. Refunds will not be accepted if this window has been exceeded.
    • A refund will be processed upon receiving the item.
    • Return parcel/postage fee is incurred by the customer and non-refundable by us.
